"Detective Chinatown 3" officially wrapped up, "brain-burning" trip to Japan on the first day of the Lunar New Year

"Detective Chinatown 3" was officially announced to be completed today. Following Thailand and New York, the story of this work has shifted to Tokyo, Japan, telling a new adventure experienced by "Chinatown Detectives" Tang Ren (played by Wang Baoqiang) and Qin Feng (played by Liu Haoran) who came to Japan at the request of Noda Hao (played by Satoshi Tsumabuki).

Detective Chinatown 3 will continue to be directed by Chen Sicheng. Previously, Chen Sicheng said in an interview that Detective Chinatown 3 will be his last Detective Chinatown movie, so he chose to set the story in Japan, a "powerhouse of reasoning." Regarding the plot, Chen Sicheng revealed that "the third story will be based on reasoning and will be very brain-burning."

"Detective Chinatown 3" is scheduled to be released on the first day of the Lunar New Year in 2020, and Wang Baoqiang, Liu Haoran and Zhang Zifeng will all return.
