Netflix's The Witcher TV series will premiere on December 16

According to pictures exposed on the Internet, the live-action series "The Witcher" created by Netflix will hold a red carpet premiere on December 16. Like other big-budget fantasy series, the premiere usually only broadcasts the first episode. This means that the live-action series "The Witcher" will not be broadcast until at least December 16. If the response is good, Netflix may officially broadcast it on December 17, but it seems unlikely.

The live-action series of "The Witcher" is adapted from the original novel, not CDPR's "The Witcher" trilogy game. The story is set in a fantasy continent and tells the journey of the demon hunter Geralt. The plot is described as "In this world where humans are often more evil than beasts, the solitary demon hunter Geralt struggles to find his place, but fate pushes him violently towards a female magician and a princess with a dangerous secret. These three people must work hard to escort this increasingly unstable continent."

The first season of "The Witcher" has a total of 8 episodes. Henry Cavill will play the demon hunter "White Wolf" Geralt, Anya Chalotra will play Yennefer, and Freya Allan will play Ciri.
