"Midnight Diner: Tokyo Stories" Season 2 Official Chinese Subtitles Trailer

The second season of "Midnight Diner: Tokyo Stories" has released its first official Chinese subtitled trailer and will be broadcast on Netflix on October 31, with a total of 10 episodes.

The second season of "Midnight Diner: Tokyo Story" is directed by Joji Matsuoka, Atsuhiro Yamashita, and Shotaro Kobayashi, and stars actors such as Kaoru Kobayashi, Mansaku Fuwa, Toshiki Ayada, and Tamae Ando.

Story introduction:

At 12 o'clock midnight, the alarm clock rang, and the time for a canteen in a corner of the city began. The menu only has pork set meals, but you can order whatever you want. This is the business policy of the boss (played by Kaoru Kobayashi). The special style and nostalgic taste attracted many customers. Everyone drank a little wine, ate their favorite food, unloaded the fatigue of the day, talked about the interesting things they encountered, or tasted the sorrow alone. In the aroma of food, in the quietness unique to the late night and the lingering warmth in the canteen, stories full of human touch were told one after another. There are sorrows and joys, which coincide with the sour, sweet, bitter and spicy tastes of food. The taste of life is all in this canteen.

This drama is adapted from the manga of the same name by Abe Yaro. In 2010, it won the 55th Shogakukan Manga Award in the "General Reader Category" and the 39th Japan Cartoonists Association Award.
