Japanese cartoonist Azuma Hideo, who won the Tezuka Osamu Cultural Award, died of illness

Today, October 21, relatives of Japanese cartoonist Hiride Agatsuma announced that Hiride Agatsuma had died of esophageal cancer on October 13 at the age of 69.

·Hideo Agatsuma was born in 1950. He is a famous Japanese comic artist and doujin writer. In 1979, he published the first Japanese lolita comic White Cybele, which set off an explosive lolita craze. Since then, Hideo Agatsuma has become the godfather of the lolita community.

In 2005, Hideo Agatsuma published "Disappearance Diary", which was well received and established his status as a cartoonist. He also won the Japan Cartoonists Association Award and the Osamu Tezuka Cultural Award for Comics.
