No sequel? Joaquin: "Joker" doesn't look like it's over yet

Previously, we reported that Todd Phillips, the director of "Joker", said "We have no plans to shoot a sequel." However, recently, Joaquin Phoenix, the star of "Joker", maintained an open attitude towards the sequel of the film, and Joaquin said that "Joker" does not seem to have come to an end yet.

Recently, Joaquin Phoenix, the star of Joker, said in an interview with foreign media Popcorn that Joker seems to have not yet come to an end. When asked whether the Joker is his dream role, Joaquin's response seemed to imply that director Todd Phillips really wants to explore more possibilities of this role, at least in this work.

Joaquin Phoenix said: "I talked to Todd (director of "Joker") many times about what else we can do, but overall it was for work. But there were some details, and we talked about it. It might be more interesting if we could do something else for the'Joker'. As a result,'Joker' finally became a dream role of mine. Before making this movie, I really didn't want to do anything. I don't know what else I can do. If possible, Todd and I are still shooting, right? Because the role of'Joker' doesn't seem to have come to an end, maybe we can do something else for this role."

"Joker" was officially released in North America on October 4.
