Kyoto Animation's first animated film "The Last Battle of Celestial Beings and Akudo" is re-released in digital high definition

The famous animation studio Kyoto Animation announced today on December 17 that its first animated film "Ame-jin & Akudo: The Last Battle" released in 2009 will be re-released in digital high definition and is scheduled to be released on December 20. The latest trailer was also released at the same time. Let's take a sneak peek.

"The Last Battle of Celestial Beings and Akudo" was directed by Yoshiharu Kigami and was the first animated feature film produced by Kyoto Animation Studio and released in 2009. The film tells the story of a "fateful girl" who has the power to save the "celestial world" and dreams of saving the world with Monto, the king of the magic kingdom, by using the "bond of light" that connects the "heaven" and the "underground".
