Starring Takeshi Kitano! Special remake of classic mystery drama "The Dot and the Line" announced

The classic mystery drama "Points and Lines", adapted from Seicho Matsumoto's famous mystery novel, received rave reviews after it was broadcast in 2007. The latest special re-edited version was announced to be rebroadcast today on August 4, starring Takeshi Kitano. Let's look forward to it together.

· "The Point and the Line" is a long mystery novel by Seicho Matsumoto. It was made into a movie by Toei on November 11, 1958. In 2007, TV Asahi aired it as a program to commemorate its 50th anniversary.

This drama tells the story of a couple who committed suicide for love in Kashii Bay, Kyushu. However, the sensitive detectives believe that things are not that simple. Kiichi Mihara of the Metropolitan Police Department's Second Investigation Division and veteran detective Shigetaro Torikai of Hakata explore the truth behind the incident. Their respective investigations are intertwined, trying to get to the bottom of the story that happened on the platform in just 4 minutes.
