Well-known animator/director Yasuhiro Takemoto confirmed to have died in Kyoto Animation arson case

According to Japanese media reports, Yasuhiro Takemoto, who had been missing since the Kyoto Animation arson case, has been confirmed dead today at the age of 47. His body has been claimed by his family.

As a director, Yasuhiro Takemoto has been in charge of many well-known animations, including "Full Metal Panic: School Arc", "Lucky☆Star", "The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya", the 2009 version of "Hyouka", and "Miss Kobayashi's Dragon Maid". He has participated in countless animations as a storyboarder and actor, and is deeply loved by animation fans.
