Geralt's bathtub confirmed to appear in The Witcher TV series

In the latest trailer for Netflix's The Witcher, eagle-eyed viewers have spotted Geralt and Yennefer at a masked sex party. But this is apparently not the only nude scene in the show. A famous bathtub from The Witcher 3 will also make an appearance in the show in some way.

At the media roundtable of The Witcher, the creator Lauren Schmidt Hissrich answered questions from reporters and talked about the Easter eggs of novels and games inserted in the play. So she talked about Geralt's bathtub scene at the beginning of The Witcher 3.

This bathtub scene was so memorable that it became a meme, and it also showed us Geralt’s homely side.

"There was a bathtub in season one. Yes, there was a bathtub. I can't tell you who was in the bathtub, but there was a bathtub."

Hissrich went on to explain that because the original novel and the game's analysts had expectations, she and the screenwriters wanted to pay tribute to it with some details. It could be a menu like this bathtub, or it could be a larger manifestation of the background story.

She mentioned that the story she personally wanted to include the most was "A Question of Price," a short story that explains how Ciri became Geralt's child.

"We are also fans of the series, so when I asked the screenwriters on the first day, what was their favorite thing after reading the novel? It could be a small thing, or a repeated sentence, or something bigger. For me personally, my favorite is 'The Price Question', and I feel that this short story must be included. I think fans of The Witcher will find many interesting things in this show."

The Witcher will premiere exclusively on Netflix later this year.
