John Romita Sr., co-creator of Wolverine, dies

Today (June 14), Romita Jr., son and fellow cartoonist of the famous American cartoonist John Romita Sr., confirmed on Twitter that his father had passed away at the age of 93.

John Romita Sr. made a huge contribution to Marvel Comics, co-creating many well-known Marvel characters, including Wolverine and The Punisher, and he also introduced beloved characters such as Mary Jane Watson (MJ, Peter Parker's Spider-Man's love interest), the villain Kingpin and the Vulture in the Spider-Man comics.
