Marvel recently released a clip of Robert Downey Jr. auditioning for the first "Iron Man" movie in 2008. The full video is included in the upcoming digital version of "Avengers 4". Clip (Chinese version of the video comes from Weibo blogger @漫威特工队): In the video, we see that Iron Man director Jon Favreau said that Downey was already a well-known actor at the time, but the movies he starred in were not particularly blockbuster. So Downey had to audition for this role, and then history was made. In the film, Marvel officials said that Downey's audition proved without a doubt that no one else could play this role, it was magical, "exactly the feeling we wanted." The digital version of "Avengers 4" will be released on July 30, and the Blu-ray version will be released on August 13. Other bonus content includes audio commentary by directors Russo Brothers, screenwriters Christopher Markus and Stephen McFeely, 6 deleted scenes, and a collection of errors and funny scenes that occurred during the filming of the movie. In addition, the digital version of the movie will also include a short film explaining the controversial decision made by Captain America at the end of "Avengers 4". Full audition video: |
