Warhammer 40k live-action TV series in production to tell the story of the Alien Inquisitor

Netflix's The Witcher TV series is in the works, but it's not the only one to be adapted from a game into a TV series. Today (July 18), Games Workshop announced that it will work with Frank Spotnitz, the author of Amazon Prime's Man in the High Castle, to produce a live-action TV series based on the Warhammer 40k universe.

The TV series is named "Eisenhorn." The TV series is a mixture of fantasy, science fiction and crime, and is adapted from the novel of the same name "Warhammer 40k". Gregor Eisenhorn is an inquisitor of the Alien Inquisition, punishing heretics for the human empire. He led the investigation team to try to dismantle the conspiracy of the aliens and heretics. He was ruthless and wanted to destroy the hostile forces that tried to subvert the empire and rebuild the imperial order.

But during his battle journey, he gradually discovered the dark side of the empire, the greed of chaos, the distortion of human nature, etc., which made him begin to question his duties and ponder the meaning of loyalty. Through Eisenhorn's eyes, the audience can see the story behind the rise and fall of the empire, and the original sins hidden deep within the empire.

Like Geralt, Eisenhorn made his debut in the novel and later appeared in the game. Although the game "Eisenhorn: XENOS" has received mixed reviews on Steam, the live-action TV series "Warhammer 40k" should not disappoint many fans, given the reputation of "The Man in the High Castle".
