The Chinese poster of Yuasa Masaaki's "Ride the Waves with You" is released and the mainland will soon be scheduled

The animated film "Ride Your Wave" directed by Masaaki Yuasa, who is regarded by Hayao Miyazaki as "a genius animator once in a century", released its Chinese poster today (July 17) and will be officially released in mainland China soon. Previously, this animated film also won the Best Animated Film Award at the 22nd Shanghai International Film Festival.

"Ride Your Waves" was released in Japan on June 21, 2019. The film tells the love story between Hina Poppyko, a firefighter with a sense of justice, and Hinako Mukai, a college student who loves surfing.

It is reported that Katayose Ryota voiced the male protagonist Hinako Kou, who has a strong sense of justice and is trusted by those around him, Kawaei Rina voiced the cheerful but unconfident female protagonist Hinako Mukai, Matsumoto Honoka voiced Hinako Kou's sister Hinako Yoko, and Ito Kentaro voiced Kou's junior Kawamura Wasabi. The film is directed by Yuasa Masaaki, Yoshida Reiko ("The Song of Lu Announces the Dawn" and "The Young Lady Boss is an Elementary School Student!") is the screenwriter, and Oshima Mitsuru ("Spring Nights Are Short, Go Girls!") is the composer.
