Vanessa Kirby may play new Catwoman in Batman movie

According to foreign media Geeks Worldwide, Vanessa Kirby, who once played the "White Widow" in "Mission: Impossible 6", has become a candidate for "Catwoman" in the "Batman" independent film. In addition to "Mission: Impossible 6", Vanessa Kirby also starred in the "Fast & Furious" spin-off movie "Fast & Furious: Hobbs & Shaw" in the second half of this year.

Except for Robert Pattinson who has been confirmed to play the role of "Batman" in the independent film, the other actors have not yet been confirmed, and director Matt Reeves is still in the casting process with Warner. This news came from Geeks Worldwide, which first broke the news that the new "Batman" will be "Blue Beast" Nicholas Hoult, so there is a great possibility that Vanessa Kirby will become the new Catwoman.

At present, the independent film "Batman" has been confirmed to be made into a series, and the first one will be released in North America on June 25, 2021. Director Matt Reeves hopes to make this "Batman" a crime story-driven black film, highlighting Bruce Wayne's detective skills rather than the previous action hero setting.
