The final chapter of the comic-adapted movie "Rurouni Kenshin" has been filmed and will be released in summer 2020

Today (June 28), the official Twitter account of the live-action movie "Rurouni Kenshin" posted a message stating that the filming of the final chapter of "Rurouni Kenshin" has been completed, and released a photo of the film director Keishi Otomo and the leading actor Sato Takeru, as well as the colored paper given to Sato Takeru by the original author of "Rurouni Kenshin" Nobuhiro Watsuki.

The tweet stated that about 6,000 extras took part in the filming of the movie, which took seven months and took place in 43 locations across Japan. The reply to the tweet also expressed gratitude to all the staff.

It is reported that "Rurouni Kenshin Final Chapter" is divided into two parts, which will be released consecutively in the summer of 2020. They are adapted from the original "Remembrance" and "Human Punishment" respectively, telling the story of Kenshin's "mystery of the cross wound" and "the most terrifying enemy, fate".
