Dazai Osamu's masterpiece "No Longer Human" is adapted into a comic movie! Serialization starts today

The new remake of the animated theatrical film "HUMAN LOST", based on Dazai Osamu's famous novel "No Longer Human", is scheduled to be released in 2019, and the new spin-off manga will be serialized before the film today, June 25th. Let's take a look.

"No Longer Human" is a famous novella written by Japanese novelist Dazai Osamu, published in 1948. It is an autobiographical novel. In the work, Dazai Osamu cleverly hides his life and thoughts in the life experience of the protagonist Yozo. Through Yozo's monologue, we can peek into Dazai Osamu's inner world - "a life full of shame". In the same year when the work was published, Dazai Osamu committed suicide.

The manga version of "HUMAN LOST" will follow the plot setting of the film version and will be drawn by Ryusuke Takagi, so stay tuned.
