"The End of Pokémon" When the Pokémon world becomes a bloody and violent R-rated movie

Have you ever imagined what it would be like to perform a pure R-rated movie with blood and violence like a dark superhero in the background of the Pokémon world? Thanks to director Adi Shankar, the producer of Netflix's Castlevania animation, today brought us a 5.5-minute conceptual trailer, presenting a completely different spicy Pokémon world!

"The End of Pokémon" - R-rated Pokémon movie trailer:

In two words, it's awesome. This short film is not just for all ages, it starts with Pikachu's grave and shocks the audience. In this world, Ash (the protagonist of the animated version) has lost his most beloved friend Pikachu, and as an adult he vows to abandon the whole world for Pikachu. Since Pikachu can no longer be saved, he will free all the other Pokémon!

The film is full of blood-spurting and beheading scenes, and Pokémon is no exception. Ninetales was ironically devoured in the battle with Venusaur, and the big screen behind it read "Excellent Effect". Team Rocket still appeared as the villains, Musashi's sniper shot Misty's Psyduck in the head, and Xiaogang took out the Geodude and killed his opponent when he was surrounded by evil forces and was imprisoned.

And when Mewtwo shows up and vows to destroy all humans, the situation becomes even more chaotic, and the Pokémon world is bound to experience a bloodbath of violent fighting.

Of course, like a good R-rated movie, there is no lack of tributes and humor in the short film. Xiaozhi jumping off a tall building wearing a Pikachu headgear is obviously a tribute to last year's high-scoring animated film "Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse"; and the child raised by Xiaoxia and Xiaozhi is really a popular Togepi...

Many players and fans commented on the video, saying it was a shame that such a high-quality trailer could not be developed into a real animation. At this stage when the age of Pokémon fans is generally getting older, can the Pokémon Company really consider launching an adult-oriented work? It will surely be strongly welcomed.
