According to Hong Kong media, Ling Zhihua, the martial arts instructor of films such as "Unbeatable", "Kung Fu", and "Operation Red Sea", suddenly passed away on the evening of the 28th. Chin Kar-lok, president of the Hong Kong Action Stuntmen's Union, confirmed the news.

Martial arts instructor and stunt double Ling Chi-wah witnessed the golden age of Hong Kong action martial arts films. He served as an action stunt double for Jet Li's "Once Upon a Time in China" series of films, completing many difficult moves. In "The Grandmaster" directed by Wong Kar-wai, Ling Chi-wah also made a cameo appearance as a martial arts master from Foshan.

Chin Kar Lok commented on Ling Chi Wah: "He is a very polite, smiling, dedicated filmmaker."

Dante Lam, the director of Operation Red Sea, was shocked to learn of Ling Chi-wah's death. He said puzzledly, "He didn't smoke or drink, exercised a lot, and was rarely sick. I was shocked and very unhappy to hear the news."
