A new animation of "The Prince of Tennis" will be produced to commemorate the 20th anniversary of the broadcast

2021 will mark the 20th anniversary of the popular anime "The Prince of Tennis". Recently, the official announced that a new animation "The New Prince of Tennis: Hyotei VS Rikkai Game of Future" will be produced, and a special illustration drawn by Takeshi Konomi was also released. "The Prince of Tennis" is a sports-themed manga by Japanese manga artist Takeshi Konomi. The work began to be published in Weekly Shonen Jump in 1999. It tells the story of Ryoma Echizen, who entered the junior high school of the famous tennis school, Seigakuen. He won four consecutive American Youth Tennis Championships and was hailed as a tennis genius. Ryoma Echizen met strong seniors in the tennis club of Seigakuen, but with his amazing strength, he finally won the recognition of his seniors and officially joined the school team, starting his struggle to the national competition.
