The spin-off TV animation of Sega's classic game "New Sakura Wars" has been aired on April 3, 2020. Today, on May 4, the official announced that the Blu-ray disc version of the TV animation will be released one after another, and the first volume will be released on May 20.

The first episode of the animation "New Sakura Wars" is titled "The Grand Opening! The New Flower Troupe", which tells the story of a day in the 30th year of Taisho, when the Imperial Flower Troupe's new work was first performed, and the Grand Imperial Theater was crowded with people. The acting captain of the music house, Sakura Amamiya, who was on stage for the first time, and the new generation of the flower group, including Fuyugumo Hatsuho, Mochizuki Tsuki, Anastasia Palmer, and Clarice, gathered together, waiting for the new captain, Seijuro Kamiyama, who had just returned home. Behind Seijuro Kamiyama was a girl he had never seen before...

The "New Sakura Wars" TV animation Blu-ray disc will be released in a total of 4 volumes. The first volume will be released on May 20, including episodes 1 to 3 of the TV animation. The remaining 3 volumes will be released every month, so stay tuned.
