The live-action series "Chariots of Fire" has been completed, and the rebooted game has not yet been announced

According to a tweet from producer Michael Jonathan Smith, the first season of the Chariots of Fire TV series has now wrapped. The tweet also showed an ice sculpture (with the Chariots of Fire logo), which is likely from the shutdown celebration.

The completion of the "Chariots of Fire" series means that it will be one step ahead of the rebooted game. According to VGC, the rebooted version of "Chariots of Fire" was created by Sony's Firesprite studio.

In Chariots of Fire, Anthony Mackie will play John Doe, a man with amnesia who speaks as fast as he drives. Doe must drive through a post-apocalyptic wasteland to deliver supplies to the Outpost, aided by car thief Quiet, while being hunted by patrol officer Agent Stone.

Chariots of Fire is the second Sony IP to be adapted into a TV series after The Last of Us, and will be broadcast on the streaming media Peacock. Recently, Sony also announced that Horizon: Zero Dawn will also be made into a TV series and released on Netflix.

<<:  The second part of "Spy Play" trailer and visual image will be released on October 1st

>>:  The fourth season of "Fateful Flight" has been released and will be launched on Netflix on November 4
