"One Piece: Red-Haired Diva" grossed 19.7 billion yen in the domestic box office, rising to the 8th place in Japanese film history

According to Japanese media reports, the popular animated theatrical version of "One Piece: Red-Haired Diva" ended perfectly with a box office of 19.7 billion yen in Japan, surpassing Studio Ghibli's "Howl's Moving Castle" to become the 8th in Japan's box office history. The global box office of this film totaled 31.9 billion yen, and the film is still being shown in some overseas regions.


"One Piece: The Red-Haired Diva" is the 15th animated film in the series and will be released in Japan on August 6. It is directed by Goro Taniguchi, written by Tsutomu Kuroiwa and produced by Eiichiro Oda. The story revolves around the biggest key character in the series, Red-Haired Shanks, and his daughter who has extraordinary powers. It will also hint at many new clues to the direction of the final chapter of the comic version of "One Piece".
