"No Time to Die" topped the mainland box office with nearly 50 million on its first day

The Hollywood action blockbuster "No Time to Die" topped the mainland China box office with a rough report of 49.75 million yuan on its first day, ending the 29-day championship streak of "The Battle at Lake Changjin", but was less than the previous "Spectre" which grossed 90.35 million yuan on its first day in mainland China.

It is reported that the film cost $250 million to produce and was released worldwide in late September. As of this Friday, the global box office has exceeded $530 million (excluding mainland China). Foreign media predict that the mainland box office will reach $30 million in the first weekend.
