The classic anime "I Want to Tell You" created by Karuho Shiina has officially announced a sequel 12 years later, which is scheduled to be released exclusively on Netflix in 2024. Stay tuned.

The story of "I Want to Tell You" revolves around a high school girl named Kuronuma Shoko, who looks so gloomy that people around her call her "Sadako". It describes how she gradually eliminates the misunderstandings of people around her through her efforts and gains friendship and love. The image of the heroine is beautiful, kind and warm, and she gains happiness with her own intelligence.

"I Want to Tell You" won the first place in the "This Comic is Amazing!" award of Formosa Publishing House in 2008 for girls.

The sequel of "I Want to Tell You" will be produced by Production IG. The male and female protagonists will continue to be played by the voice actors of the animation version 12 years ago. The high school girl Kuronuma Shoko will be played by Noto Mamiko, and Namikawa Daisuke will play Kazehaya Shota. Please stay tuned for more follow-up news.
