Netflix has previously produced the animated film "The Witcher: Nightmare of the Wolf", which tells the story of Vesemir's youth and received good responses. The new "The Witcher: Siren of the Deep" has also been in production and was originally scheduled to be released in 2024.

Today, the official released a new preview trailer, showing the interesting conversation between Geralt and Dandelion while camping. It is worth mentioning that Doug Cocker, who voiced the protagonist Geralt (also the actor who voiced Geralt in the "Witcher" series of games), gave a brief introduction to "The Witcher: Siren of the Deep" before the trailer began, and also announced that the film will be postponed to February 11, 2025.

It is understood that the plot of "The Witcher: Siren of the Deep" is adapted from the short story "A Little Sacrifice" by Andrzej Sapkowski, the original author of the "The Witcher" series. Andrzej also served as the screenwriter of the film, and the director is Kang Hee-cheol of "The Witcher: Wolf's Nightmare". In addition to Doug Cockerell, the actor who played "Geralt" in the game version, Joey Beatty, who played Dandelion in the live-action series, also continued to play the role in this film.
