American parents named their kids after Game of Thrones characters, now regret it

While fans are discussing the plot of the eighth season of Game of Thrones, thousands of American parents are worried about their children's names. These parents named their children after characters from the TV series Game of Thrones, but now they regret it.

According to statistics from the U.S. Social Security Administration, the names of characters from Game of Thrones are at the top of parents' naming choices, with boys' names ranking 31st and girls' names ranking 14th. But the final season of Game of Thrones has put many parents in an awkward situation.

One mother said: "Naming my child after a character from Game of Thrones is probably the biggest regret I've ever made in my life. We thought these names were cute and cool before we watched Season 8, but now I can't look my daughter in the face."

Jack Loncar, a fifth-grade American elementary school student, said: "I was born in 2010 and my parents named me Lost. I found that many people are mean to me, just like the comments my teacher made to me recently. I am always disappointing, and the disappointment is beyond imagination. What makes me sad is that there are thousands of children named like me who are at a disadvantage."

However, many parents are confident in using the names of the TV series, and they believe that these names are still cool. It's just that the plot of this season is really unexpected. HBO did not respond to this.
