The media scores of "Aladdin" are low, IGN scored 6.7 points and Rotten Tomatoes is only 60%

Last night (May 22), the foreign media ratings of Disney's live-action version of "Aladdin" starring "King of Sci-Fi" Will Smith were released. IGN only gave it a score of 6.7, thinking that the movie was mediocre and did not present a new and wonderful world to the audience. The freshness of Rotten Tomatoes was only a very low 60%, the average score of M Station was 55 points, and iMDb only gave it a score of 6.5.

IGN: Although it is a bit disappointing that "Aladdin" takes a conservative approach like other Disney live-action adaptations, the presentation of the entire movie story is still good.

The protagonist Aladdin just keeps singing, and the protagonists of the film's story become Princess Jasmine and the genie "Stefanie". This classic story becomes very stiff under the presentation of motion capture, and the performances of the protagonist and the villain are not better than those of actors of the same age. In short, the 2019 live-action version of "Aladdin" may not have created a brand new world. The only thing worth watching in the whole film is the colorful and dazzling fictional city "Agrabah".
