Genuine ticket replacement? EVA old theater version will be released in Shanghai in June

"Neon Genesis Evangelion: DEATH TRUE(2)" and "Neon Genesis Evangelion: AIR" will be screened during the Shanghai International Film Festival in June. This will be the first time that the old Evangelion theatrical version has been screened in mainland China since it was released in Japan in 1997.

"Neon Genesis Evangelion: REVIVAL OF EVANGELION" (新世洀エヴァンゲリオン劇場版DEATH(TRUE)2/Air/まごころを、君にREVIVAL OF EVANGELION) was released in Japan on March 7, 1998. It is the third theatrical version of the Neon Genesis Evangelion series. It is a series of the first two theatrical versions, "Death & Rebirth" and "THE END OF EVANGELION". This work is considered to be the final and initial form of the Neon Genesis Evangelion theatrical version.

"REVIVAL OF EVANGELION" is divided into three parts: [DEATH(TRUE)2], [Air] and [For You]. [DEATH(TRUE)2] is the revised and final version of [DEATH]. Due to the long running time, a break scene was added after the end of [DEATH(TRUE)2].
