Director Gunn: Neither "Suicide Squad" nor "Guardians of the Galaxy 3" will be delayed

"Director Gunn" James Gunn recently responded to fans on Twitter, confirming that the release dates of his films for DC and Marvel - "The Suicide Squad" and "Guardians of the Galaxy 3" will not be changed and will not be affected by the new coronavirus.

Director Gun said, "There is currently no reason to postpone the release of "Suicide Squad". We have completed the plan on time or ahead of schedule. Before the outbreak of the epidemic, we were very lucky to finish filming and edit at home (this is because there is a very visionary post-production team)."

Gunn also mentioned Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3. He said: "Our current plans for Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 are the same as before the outbreak of the new coronavirus. They remain unchanged."

The Suicide Squad was completed on February 29 this year, and the film was originally scheduled to be released in North America on August 6, 2021. The film "Guardians of the Galaxy 3" will not start shooting until the production of "Suicide Squad" is completed, and Marvel has not yet determined the release date.
