Netflix's The Witcher TV series is nearly finished

After months of filming and constant leaks, Netflix has finally finished filming The Witcher. Last week, director Charlotte Brandstrom posted a photo taken from a plane on Instagram with the caption "Goodbye Budapest...". As fans who follow the series should know, most of the filming of the series took place in and around Budapest, Hungary. Director Brandstrom was chosen by Netflix to direct the fifth and sixth episodes of the series.

Meanwhile, actor Adam Levy also posted a video on Instagram from a wrap party at the Hotsy Tosty bar in Budapest. When you combine the two Instagram posts with the fact that the show is scheduled to wrap up filming in May or June, it's safe to say that Netflix is nearing the end of filming on the first season.

Other actors on the show also joked that they were done, and a photographer revealed that their work would be completed on May 4, local time, which is today. However, there were still a number of actors and actresses on the set, which means that not 100% of the work has been completed, but it is obviously not far off.

As the filming is coming to an end, we will probably see the official trailer soon. The Witcher TV series is scheduled to be released between October and December this year, with a total length of 8 episodes. It is reported that Netflix is quite satisfied with the work of this series and has given the green light to multiple sequels.
