The sci-fi disaster film "Moonfall" first released the trailer: The moon is not what you think it is

IGN released the first trailer for the disaster film Moonfall, directed by Roland Emmerich, the director of The Day After Tomorrow and 2012. A new catastrophe is coming. Lionsgate is responsible for the North American distribution, and Huayi Brothers has obtained the distribution rights in mainland China.

In Moonfall, set in the year 2022, a mysterious force knocks the Moon out of orbit, sending it hurtling toward Earth. With just weeks until impact, the world is on the brink of destruction. NASA executive and former astronaut Jo Fowler (Oscar winner Halle Berry) believes she has the key to saving everyone, but only one of her former astronauts, Brian Harper (Patrick Wilson), and a conspiracy theorist, KC Houseman (John Bradley), believe her. These unlikely heroes are on an impossible final mission - to go into space and leave their loved ones behind, only to discover that our Moon is not what we thought it was.

"Moonfall" stars Halle Berry, Patrick Wilson, John Bradley, Michael Peña, Charlie Plummer, Donald Sutherland, Em Ikwako, Carolina Batchak ("X-Men: Apocalypse," "District"), Maxime Roy ("Shadowhunters," "Into the Dark"), Steve Bogaert ("IT," "In the Sky"), etc., and will be released in North America on February 4, 2022.
