Sina Film reported today (January 18) that Channing Tatum recently revealed in an interview with Vanity Fair that he plans to remake the classic love movie "Ghost". His production company Free Association owns the copyright of the film and is working on the new version, and he is expected to play the leading role. Starring Patrick Swayze, Demi Moore, Whoopi Goldberg, and Tony Goldwyn, Ghost is directed by Jerry Zucker and tells the story of how Sam, a bank clerk, is murdered and his ghost, with the help of the psychic Oda, reunites with his girlfriend Molly and protects her from the mastermind behind the murder and brings him to justice. The film was released in 1990 and received five Oscar nominations, including Best Picture. Goldberg won Best Supporting Actress.
