"Mortal Kombat Legends: Scorpion's Revenge" IGN 6 points: Violent combat is good, but other aspects are not good

IGN today (April 15) gave the "Mortal Kombat" series' R-rated animation "Mortal Kombat Legends: Scorpion's Revenge" a score of 6. IGN said that "Mortal Kombat Legends: Scorpion's Revenge" created all the violent aesthetic battle scenes you want, but there was nothing outstanding other than that.

IGN Rating: 6 OK

Mortal Kombat Legends: Scorpion's Revenge delivers all the violent, aesthetically pleasing combat you could want, but otherwise doesn't really stand out.

IGN's overall review:

While Mortal Kombat Legends: Scorpion's Revenge does a good job of what makes the MK series great - bloody martial arts action and self-deprecating humor - it doesn't do much else well. Scorpion may be the protagonist, but there's nothing interesting or profound about him. It's a good way to revisit the story of the first Mortal Kombat from Scorpion's perspective, but it misses the mark in terms of execution.
