The second PV trailer of the animated theatrical version of "Mononoke: Kara Umbrella", directed by Kenji Nakamura and produced by EOTA Animation, with character design by Kitsune Nagata and animation character design and general animation supervision by Yuichi Takahashi, was recently released.

The "Mononoke" animation, which has a unique Ukiyo-e style and gorgeous visual effects, was originally launched as the story of the last unit of the 2006 animation "Mononoke". Due to its widespread acclaim, it was produced as a separate series.

The "Mononoke: Kara Umbrella" project was announced as early as June 2022, but due to the affair of the protagonist voice actor Sakurai Takahiro, it was decided to postpone its release and replace the "medicine seller" voice actor with Kamiya Hiroshi. It is finally scheduled to be officially released on July 26 this year.

The story of "Mononoke: Kara Umbrella" takes place in the Great Inner Palace and will depict a story with the theme of women's suffering and redemption.
