On the evening of October 2, Shueisha's Weekly Shonen Jump urgently announced that Eiichiro Oda had suddenly fallen ill, and the latest magazine "One Piece" scheduled to be released on October 5 would be suspended for two issues.

The editorial department of Weekly Shonen Jump did not reveal what disease Oda Eiichiro contracted, and also stated that he is recovering now. After a two-issue break, the story will resume serialization in the 46th issue of Weekly Shonen Jump, which is scheduled to be released on October 17.
