CW has recently been giving green lights like crazy, renewing all 13 of its unfinished American TV series, including the second season of "Batwoman", the seventh season of "The Flash", and the fifth season of "Riverdale". The new drama "Lancy" which premiered last fall is also one of the returning series in 2020-2021. CW President Mark Pedowitz announced the renewal of this large number of dramas. "Renewing the next season so early gives the production team more time to prepare, design stories and hire staff better. We are also very excited about the creative direction of the new drama." Other series returning to The CW later this year include Supergirl (Season 6), GoT (Season 3), Black Lightning (Season 4), Charmed (Season 3), Legends of Tomorrow (Season 6), The Next Generation (Season 7), Dark (Season 3), Descendants (Season 3) and Roswell (Season 3). Supergirl Riverdale The CW's Katy Keene is a spinoff of Riverdale, which premiered a month later on February 6 and was renewed for 13 episodes today. The two American dramas that the station did not renew are Supernatural and Arrow, which will end after the current season. The specific broadcast dates of these newly renewed American TV series in 2020-2021 will be officially announced later. |
