"Avatar: The Path of Water" has surpassed $1.89 billion in global box office and is about to surpass "No Return"

"Avatar: The Path of Water" has now exceeded $1.89 billion at the global box office, winning the global box office championship for the fifth time. It is now very close to "Spider-Man: No Homecoming"'s $1.91 billion, and is expected to surpass it and become the sixth in global box office history.

According to Variety, Avatar: Watershed took in $31.1 million in North America over the weekend and is estimated to have grossed $38.5 million as of Monday.

In North America, Avatar: Watershed brought in $570 million, bringing its international total to $1.89 billion. As we mentioned before, it should surpass Spider-Man: No Homecoming to become the sixth-highest-grossing film in the history of the global box office, and then its next target is Avengers: Infinity War ($2.04 billion), which is in fifth place.
