Disney to create Indian Princess movie with curry-flavored dance

The Disney Princess series is dedicated to touching on stories of different countries, races, and cultures to showcase its diversity. According to a recent report by foreign media Deadline, Disney is preparing to create an Indian Princess movie that will focus on India and will be shot in the form of a live-action musical.

This movie, which features an Indian princess, has been confirmed to be directed and produced by Indian-British director Gurinder Chadha, and her husband Paul Mayeda Berges will write the script. Currently, there is not much information about the movie "Indian Princess". We only know that the princess is a real person in Indian history, but the official has not disclosed who she is.

Chadha admitted in an interview with Deadline that creating a princess movie for Disney is a difficult task. She said: "It's not easy to create a Disney princess movie. It's a difficult thing because you have to abide by certain rules and you don't want to repeat yourself. For example, I don't want to shoot what Mulan has shot. I want to make my own work. But at the same time, there are also very powerful Disney princesses to learn from, so to do something different, but still within the category, is worth exploring as a creator."

Chadha recalled that when Sean Bailey, president of Disney's film production, approached her about cooperating in this film, she happily said, "Of course, I am the best choice." Chadha said that Lindy Goldstein, producer of "The Nutcracker and the Four Realms", and Jessica Virtue, vice president of Disney's production, will participate in the development of the film. "We are all shaping this story together, and once it reaches the ideal stage, I will share it."
