The TV series "Swamp Thing" tells the story of Abby Arcane, an investigator from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, who returns to a small town in Louisiana to investigate a deadly swamp virus. She develops a crush on a female scientist who is traveling with her. However, the female scientist is swept away by strange creatures in the swamp. It seems that a mysterious force is preventing the investigation. Abby Arcane discovers that the swamp hides a mysterious and terrifying power. When unexplained and chilling terrors appear in the dark swamp, no one will be safe...

Swamp Thing is an American DC Comics superhero. In the comics, his real name is Alec Holland. He was originally a scientist. While conducting secret experiments in a swamp, he accidentally detonated a bomb, causing his body to merge with the swamp, turning into a half-human, half-plant monster that can control plants. He later joined the Justice League Dark.
