The high ticket prices have also caused dissatisfaction among consumers, but relevant departments have intervened to adjust ticket prices. On April 18, according to domestic media reports, the State Film Administration issued an emergency notice regarding the excessively high ticket service fees for "Avengers 4: Endgame" in some theaters, requiring that except for VIP theaters with valid registered theater types in the "National Film Ticketing Comprehensive Information Management System", other ordinary theaters (including IMAX, etc.) are only allowed to charge a 10% channel handling fee, and the VIP theater’s channel handling fee is not higher than 30%. Otherwise, the theater will be restricted from downloading the "Avengers 4" movie key.

In other words, cinemas cannot charge excessive handling fees, otherwise they will not be able to obtain the film key, which means they will not be able to play "Avengers 4". This punishment can be said to be very strict, and movie fans applauded.

However, some media also said that the Film Bureau’s move is not only to curb high ticket prices, but more importantly to crack down on box office theft, because charges other than ticket prices are not included in the movie box office, and cinemas often steal box office revenue by taking advantage of popular movies.
