Netflix Chief Content Officer Ted Sarandos announced at the quarterly earnings investor meeting held yesterday that the TV series of the same name adapted from the original novel of "The Witcher" will be broadcast in the fourth quarter of 2019, that is, between October and December 2019, with a total of 8 episodes in the first season.

The TV series "The Witcher" is currently being filmed in Europe. The series was shot in Budapest, Hungary, Spain, Poland and other places, including Vajdahunyad Castle, Szelim Caves, Old Lake in Tata, Canary Islands and other places, with a strong medieval style.

The story of the series is adapted from the novel, with reference to "Sword of Destiny" and "The Last Wish". Henry Cavill will play Geralt, and it is confirmed that there will be dragon-slaying scenes.
