"Monster Hunt 3" officially launched, the director of the first two films will serve as the screenwriter

According to the National Film Administration's January 2019 national film script (synopsis) filing and project approval announcement, "Monster Hunt 3" has been officially approved, with the director of the first two films, Xu Chengyi, serving as the screenwriter.

"Monster Hunt 3" tells the story of Tian Meng and Xiao Lan taking Huba on a journey again to find his father Song Daitian. The grown-up Huba made important decisions and actions, which brought the turmoil between the human and demon worlds to an end, and the two worlds can finally coexist peacefully.

The first two parts of "Monster Hunt" were released in 2015 and 2018, respectively, and grossed nearly 4.7 billion yuan at the box office. The second part also invited Hong Kong movie star Tony Leung Chiu-wai to star.
