The chance to become famous has come. The classic movie "Love Letter" will be remade into a Chinese version and is recruiting actors

The classic film "Love Letter" directed by Japanese director Shunji Iwai will be remade into a Chinese version, directed by young director Liu Yulin (daughter of Liu Zhenyun, who previously directed the film "One Sentence is Worth Ten Thousand Sentences"), and written by Wang Huiling, who has worked with Ang Lee on many films such as "Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon" and "Lust, Caution", etc. Actors are currently being recruited. The film is scheduled to start shooting in late June 2019, with a shooting period of two and a half months, and will be released on February 14, 2020, Valentine's Day.

The Chinese version of "Love Letter" was previously approved by Beijing New Yuanye Entertainment Media Co., Ltd., and the title is "Love Letter. Midsummer". Story summary: A gift from "Heaven" brings two men who didn't know each other together by chance. They discover that they both have a secret crush on the same deceased girl. They carefully listen to each other's stories, but find that the girl's feelings, which they never knew, have already been written in the love letters of the past...
