Toys also go to the sky. The second trailer of "The Lego Movie 2" is released

It’s been nearly six months since the first trailer for The Lego Movie 2 came out, and today the team has released its second trailer. The sequel to 2014’s The Lego Movie is set to hit theaters in February 2019, and this latest trailer suggests that the film will be just as entertaining as its predecessor.

Trailer video:

Like trailer 1, the latest trailer tells us that the protagonist Emmet decides to go to space with Batman to rescue Lucy after witnessing alien invaders kidnapping her into outer space. The film also reveals the addition of another Lego character, Rex, who is also voiced by Chris Pratt.

The voice cast of The Lego Movie 2 also includes Tiffany Haddish, Channing Tatum, Jonathan Hill and Alison Brie. The film will be directed by Mike Mitchell. In fact, Mike will be the third director to join the project. The previous two included Chris Michael, who turned to direct The Lego Batman Movie, and Rob Slab, who withdrew from the team due to "creative differences." The Lego Movie 2 is expected to meet us on the screen on February 8, 2019.
