Legendary Pictures announced today that "Godzilla vs. Kong", directed by Adam Wingard ("Death Note", "Blair Witch"), has started filming and the film will be released on May 29, 2020. "Godzilla vs. Kong" is the fourth film in the "Monster Universe" jointly produced by Legendary and Warner Bros. The other three films are "Godzilla", "King Kong: Skull Island" and "Godzilla: King of the Monsters". Be careful not to confuse it with "King Kong vs. Godzilla" filmed in Japan in 1962 (the animated picture comes from this film) The story of the film takes place after Godzilla: King of the Monsters, which was released on May 31, 2019.
