The popular vampire love comedy + action manga "Song of the Night" drawn by Japanese manga artist Kotoyama has officially announced that it will produce a second season. The news was revealed at the 2024 Fuji Animation TV animation lineup conference event. The official trailer visual image and PV were released. The premiere time has not yet been announced. The first season of the anime premiered in July 2022. Tomoyuki Itamura will continue to be the director for the second season. All the voice actors from the first season also seem to be returning. The story tells the story of the protagonist Yamori Hikaru (CV: Sato Moto), who doesn't understand the ways of the world and likes to stay up late. By chance, he meets the vampire girl Nanakusa Nazuna (CV: Amamiya Sora). Yamori, who yearns for "unusual daily life" and night life, wants to become a vampire, and is thus involved in various disputes between humans and vampires.
