The movie "The Great Bombing" has gone through many twists and turns and now it has been announced that the release will be cancelled

According to the latest news released by Sina Entertainment today, the World War II film "The Bombing" announced that it would cancel its theatrical release. In the afternoon, director Xiao Feng updated the poster on Weibo, but there was no information such as the release date. The news has now been officially confirmed by the film company. The film has been full of twists and turns since it started filming, and Cui Yongyuan recently called on netizens to boycott it.

Xiao Feng posted on Weibo: "No matter how many facts there are, they are useless. No matter how innocent we are, we cannot stop the smear campaign. No matter how much we have paid, we cannot avoid the retribution. It is time to let it go." He also apologized to the audience and said bluntly that "retribution will eventually come to its place." Previously, Cui Yongyuan had launched "attacks" on the film several times on Weibo, and even called on netizens to boycott it, saying: "It is hard to imagine how this project that deceived and squandered more than 1 billion of Shanghai people's hard-earned money was able to pass all the tests? Boycott! Boycott with me! Let justice still have a little face." But on October 10, the film company still said that the film would be released as scheduled.

It is reported that the film "The Bombing" has been full of twists and turns since its filming. The film was originally invested and filmed by Shi Jianxiang, chairman of the board of directors of Shanghai Kuailu Group, and Cui Yongyuan once served as the chief producer of the film; but just two years ago, Kuailu's illegal fundraising case was exposed, Shi Jianxiang fled, and the film's funding chain was broken. After that, director Xiao Feng raised funds on his own to complete the post-production of the film. Earlier, it was also reported that it would be released in August. However, in the past few months, as Cui Yongyuan continued to expose the news, it was revealed that the actress Fan Bingbing in "The Bombing" was involved in a "yin-yang contract".

According to the report, Fan Bingbing actually received 30 million yuan in salary during the filming of the movie "The Bombing", of which 10 million yuan has been declared for tax payment, and the remaining 20 million yuan was used to evade personal income tax of 6.18 million yuan by splitting the contract, and underpaid business tax and surcharges of 1.12 million yuan, totaling 7.3 million yuan. After Fan Bingbing was punished, Cui Yongyuan still pointed the finger at the movie "The Bombing" and publicly boycotted the movie "The Bombing" on Weibo, saying: Facts have once again proved that "The Bombing" is a big fraud, and one person who participated in the fraud has been punished. He also pointed out that the film "cheated and squandered more than 1 billion Shanghai people's hard-earned money."

The film "The Bombing" tells the story of the Chinese military and civilians' optimistic resistance to the enemy during the "Chongqing Bombing". It is directed by Xiao Feng and stars Liu Ye, Bruce Willis, Song Seung-heon, Chen Weiting, Fan Wei, Ma Su, Che Yongli, Wu Gang, Feng Yuanzheng, Zhang Junning, Geng Le, etc. The film was originally scheduled to be released on August 17, but was later rescheduled to October 26 "close to the international release schedule". Today, it was announced that the release will be cancelled.
