"Cold Blooded Titans" and "Rainbow Six" novels will be adapted into movies starring Michael B. Jordan

According to Variety's exclusive news, the "Tom Clancy: Rainbow Six" novel and prequel "Without Remorse" are about to be adapted into a movie, starring Michael B. Jordan, who played the villain in Marvel's "Black Panther" movie, as the founder of the Rainbow Team: John Clark .

It is reported that Paramount Pictures plans to bring Without Remorse to the big screen first, followed by Rainbow Six. Jordan is also one of the producers of the film adaptation, along with Josh Appelbaum and Corrin Nemec. However, the main producer is Akiva Goldsman, who is responsible for the DC Titans TV series.

John Clark has appeared in 17 Tom Clancy novels, usually as the second male lead in the JackR Ryan series. However, in the prequel novel Coldblooded, Clark is the first male lead, telling the story of his service in the poster commandos during the Vietnam War. The Rainbow Six novels focus more on very dark cross-border counter-terrorism missions.

According to IGN, Paramount originally planned to make a "Cold Blooded Titans" movie in 2012 and explore the "Rainbow Six" movie in 2017, but it was not officially finalized until now. Before that, Savoy Films had also wanted to make a "Cold Blooded Titans" movie since 1993, but because the novel was too violent and dark, it had never tried.
