The director's cut of "Moon Rebels" 1 and 2 will be released on the same day, and the duration is one hour longer than the original version

"Moon Rebels" director Zack Snyder said that the director's cut of "Moon Rebels" 1 and 2 will be broadcast on Netflix on the same day. According to Zack Snyder, the director's cut is an R-rated extended version, which will be launched in the summer of 2024. It will be about 1 hour longer than the original "Moon Rebels" 1 and 2 movies (PG-13).

Moon Rebels 2 will be released on Netflix on April 12, less than five months after the first film was released in December 2023.

The director's cut seems to be released shortly after the release of Moon Rebels 2, and IGN speculates that it may be the director's cut.

"Moon Rebels" only received a 4-point rating from IGN, which stated that Zack Snyder's space opera was disappointing due to its derivative, patchwork script, mediocre action scenes and superficial story.
