Netflix's Geeked Week is coming to an end, and today's new show revealed some information about the Cuphead animation. This is not the first time we have seen information about this adaptation, as Netflix released a special behind-the-scenes featurette as early as June last year. The latest news confirms that Wayne Brady will voice the Dice King. Executive producer CJ Kettler (Carmen Sandiego) previously mentioned that the team wanted to bring something new to the protagonist of the Cuphead universe while staying true to the stylization that many fans love. "This character-based comedy follows the misadventures of the impulsive Cuphead and his cautious but easily shaken brother Mugman," Netflix first revealed in 2019. Cosmo Segurson from Rocko's Modern Life has also joined as co-executive producer, making for quite an enthusiastic team for the latest project in the Cuphead universe. Let's wait and see how this showcase goes and what form Netflix will take in the future. Earlier reports said that Netflix has approached several big companies in the gaming space to expand its presence in this market. The company has already made considerable progress in game adaptations, including the upcoming Resident Evil: Infinite Darkness. New footage from the animation "Cuphead" |
